Description

Bloons TD 6 is a great game for people who want to spend a lot of time playing a single game and eventually master it. If it describes you, then you’ll enjoy this. Otherwise, it’s a good tower defence game for those who aren’t too picky.

It’s a perfect fit for smartphones to play tower defence games. If you’re looking for a tower defence game that doesn’t require touchscreen controls, look no further. What really piqued my interest in this game was the way each level was a puzzle that could only be solved with the right monkeys in the right place at the right time.

Editor’s Review & How To Play

Bloons TD 6 is a massive game with more than 50 levels that you may not be familiar with. Balloons criss-cross the paths of each. Monkeys armed with darts and other weapons will try to pop the balloons before they can get out of the enclosure. To make matters even more complicated, the “bloons” in the game come in a variety of colours with varying strengths and weaknesses, and the monkeys themselves have distinct abilities and skill trees that branch off from them. You’re in for a tonne of balloon-popping fun when you include three difficulty settings for each map, each with their own set of modes. And that’s before we even get to the extra challenges and events.

It starts out with just 20 levels, but prior Bloons TD games have promised more content in future upgrades. After completing a level on Easy, Medium, or Hard, you’ll be rewarded, and then you’ll be given new tasks to contend with. As an illustration of this, you might be required to complete a level using just a specific type of monkey tower, or to deal with more powerful adversaries, or to reverse directions, and so on. You’ll be rewarded financially for completing each of these objectives, so there are more compelling reasons to play than a sense of accomplishment or personal challenge. But if you’re into grinding and attempting to beat every piece of material, there’s a lot here.

While Bloons TD 6 is a paid game, you can spend a lot of money on top of it, similar to the Kingdom Rush series. Monkey Money, the game’s hard currency, can be used to buy more abilities. As long as you’re grinding, you’ll get Monkey Money for finishing stages and objectives. Additionally, in-game purchases expedite the process of obtaining all of the available improvements for your units. There’s even a coin doubler available for $17.99 if you want to completely demolish your bankroll.
