A casual puzzle and home simulation game called Homescapes

Homescapes is a puzzle game and home simulation that lets you remodel an old mansion while also solving puzzles as you go. It was the replacement for Gardenscapes, another Playrix creation. You must solve the game’s matching puzzles in order to obtain resources for the house restoration.

Austin, the main character, begins the game’s narrative by remodeling the house his uncle gave him. You might renovate the mansion’s living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom since they are all cluttered. You are first given a budget to spend on furnishings and plants for your remodeling. You can purchase the others as you progress through the game with the awards you get for beating each level. The levels to be completed are distributed throughout the many areas of the house, thus each room-by-room renovation must be done. The game complexity ranges from easy to expert.

For casual gaming when you want to pass the time during downtime, Homescapes is fantastic. The game calls for analytical, problem-solving, creative, and mastery skills. To reach the game’s milestones, players must solve difficult riddles. You can play the match puzzle, which rewards you with stars and coins after you finish it, when you aren’t remodeling the house. These stars are utilized for finishing chores, while the coins are used to purchase materials for home renovation.

Homescapes not only puts your customizing abilities to the test with puzzles, but also with home renovation. The game set includes conversations and connections with the other game characters. Though technically optional, completing the offered goals is necessary for the game’s home simulation portion’s tale.

Playing Homescapes is totally free.

However, there are supplemental in-app purchases that are optional, including awards and time boosters. After a few weeks, additional levels are also released. With over 3000 levels, some of which are challenging to complete, there would never be a lack of stuff for you to enjoy.

Kids can play the game and follow the lessons that are accessible for new users. Homescapes is kid-friendly since it lacks any anything that can be considered inappropriate for children. However, given that there are portions of the game that entail real-world purchases, parents should continue to keep an eye on their children.

The gameplay is simple to understand. Since there are only a certain number of lives available for the puzzles, some people find it challenging to finish the levels. This game is ideal for you if you want a mental challenge.

Editor’s Review & How To Play

The gameplay resembles Gardenscapes almost exactly. The distinction lies in the available tile kinds and power-ups. To have a rocket that removes the tiles throughout the problem, you must match four tiles. A power-up airplane that eliminates a tile from the puzzle is created when you match up two squares in the puzzle. You can obtain a rainbow ball, a more potent booster, by matching five tiles in a row or column. All identical-colored tiles will be eliminated.

You must search for tiles that could start a chain reaction if you want to receive a full burst of power-up. Analyze the board carefully to decide which move will be your first. The challenge gets harder as you advance through the stages. Before completely clearing up a tile, jellies and boxes must be removed. You’ll receive more power-ups that you can use on the following problems if you complete a level with plenty of moves left.

In the game’s home renovation area, decorations can be switched out by using coins. You will be offered options on how to adjust or move the object while holding it.

Your first day at the house is when the game begins, which will remind you of many happy times from your youth. Austin will consider the antique furnishings and reflect on his childhood experiences with his parents. By now, you should have received your first puzzle, which you must complete in order to replace a damaged piece of furniture.

The first item that needs to be replaced is the bed. After that, a tiny box filled with trophies will appear and direct you to the following assignment. Once you have finished renovating one area of the property, you will be able to relocate to another. Prior to moving on to the next assignment, each one must be finished. Match-3 puzzles must be finished in order to earn stars that are needed to finish renovating a room.

On the tablet, which is visible on the lower left side of the screen, you can see the status of your work as well as a list of your current assignments.

Both your name and the name of the cat are editable at any moment in settings. To alter your name, tap on the line next to it, and to rename your cat, tap on the line after it. When finished, press OK to save the changes. Once the renovation is finished, the items in the house can also be modified. Simply tap the item to select it from the available alternatives.
