Description

Managing your powerups and unique tiles is one of the most important factors in your Matchington Mansion success. Regular tiles can be combined in specific ways to make special tiles. Four of the same tile, for instance, can be combined to produce a firework. A square firecracker is produced by fusing four tiles together, a huge firecracker is produced by fusing two or more tiles together, and a rainbow is produced by fusing five tiles together. As you play, it’s critical to spot opportunities to craft these powerups.

Once you’ve obtained a powerup, it’s crucial to reserve it until the appropriate circumstance. When a regular firecracker is changed out for another tile, the entire column or row explodes. Move them up or down to make them burst vertically. Move them left or right and they will explode horizontally. Save these for when you have no other movements left or when deleting a row will significantly advance the level’s objectives.

Editor’s Review & How To Play

The square firecracker investigates and dismantles the surrounding blocks from every angle. These are excellent for joining tiled sections that have a space filled with filler tiles in the middle. Try to keep these for later in the level and make a plan before you blast them, much like with conventional firecrackers.

The blast radius of the large firecrackers is greater than that of the common square firecrackers. These are utilized in a very similar manner. It’s more difficult to foresee what the board will look like after you set them off because of their wider explosion radius. This implies that you may wish to blow these up right away so that you can use your subsequent moves to clear the board.

A unique powerup is the rainbow one. To remove all of the pillows of that kind from the board, exchange it for a pillow of any kind. This is a huge help in most levels, thus one of your main objectives should be to arrange 5 blocks of the same type so that they match. A single rainbow powerup on a lot of the earlier stages will essentially finish the level for you.

In later levels, it’s all about conserving swipes and making the most of each one. When you run out of moves on a level without extra lives, you must restart the entire game. Play slowly and plan carefully to get beyond these challenging stages. Spending a few lives to complete a level if you’re almost there is okay. However, you should start the level over if you are more than two or three steps off. It’s okay to play other match-3 games while you wait for your gold and lives in Matchington Mansion to restock, as was previously explained.

Clearing levels with lots of moves left is the best way to get gold, in terms of earning gold. For some stages, this is easier said than done, but it’s important to remember that crushing levels can be an excellent source of gold.
