Editor’s Review & How To Play
The gameplay of Scribblenauts Remix is one of a kind, and it mostly consists of typing words to create a range of items that can assist the main character, Maxwell, as he makes his way through an adventure level.
The game consists of a total of 5 levels, with each level consisting of 10 smaller levels, and each level will present players with a unique objective for them to achieve. Despite the fact that this is a game, the player needs to be able to manufacture goods in order to complete the challenge presented in each level. Players, for instance, will need to retrieve the stars that are dangling from the trees in order to go to the next level. There are various ways to fulfill this condition, such as fashioning a ladder with which to scale the tree in order to retrieve the stars, fashioning an axe with which to bring down the tree in order to retrieve the stars, fashioning a plane with which to retrieve the stars, and so on. There are an infinite number of players with an infinite number of ways, and so long as they can reach the ultimate goal, what items to produce is entirely up to the player’s own ingenuity.
The level of difficulty of the game will gradually increase as the game progresses, and the player will not only be required to make items, but also to exploit the interaction between items to generate some changes; this will put a significant strain on their creative abilities.
