Editor’s Review & How To Play

The ticket cards are dealt to each player four at a time after being mixed; five are then lifted and placed next to one another, leaving the remaining cards face down as a pile of playable cards that will be replaced by five when a player accepts the lifted ticket.

Three job cards are assigned to each player. Make sure you pick one of them to complete. Unused task cards are reinserted into the task card stack.

You may choose from the three options below each turn.

Take Tickets in a Draw

Draw two tickets by selecting two of the five tickets that have been raised off the table. Two cards from the deck may also be taken by you. Additionally, you may grab 1 from the pile and 1 from the lift-off. When there are fewer than five lifted ticket cards on the table, the number is increased to five.

Travel

Travel from one city to another, but you can only visit one city at once.

Each city’s railroad has a distinctive hue. To be able to board the train for the journey, you must get the same color and play a sufficient number of ticket cards at once. Given that the train is gray, any color ticket card may be used to board it. When using the fare card, it only needs to have the same color. The score increases with increasing distance.

Finalizing the game

It is a player’s last turn when he has zero, one, or two trains left when his turn finishes. On the following player’s turn, the game is over.
